Rob is a serial entrepreneur and investor. In fact, there is an unreasonably good chance that Rob is either inventing, developing or pulling the trigger on a new business venture while you are reading this very sentence. He has started 6 successful businesses (and even more unsuccessful ones) in the past 14 years. He knows that the heart of a successful business is its marketing which, along with IT and finance, he considers to be his specialties. In addition to his role as Head Hancho/Team-Motivator/The-Glue-that-Holds-it-All-Together, Rob still (somehow) makes time everyday to challenge the team to expand our thinking and be open to change. Despite the hair-brained ideas that some of us have dreamed up on occasion (not naming any names here), he patiently allows us to explore our ideas and refrains from giving us dirty looks if they go horribly awry. We really like that about him. Outside of the office Rob spends his time with his beautiful wife, Jackie, their darling son and daughter and a household filled with too many pets to try to list here.

Evan McCutchen

Evan is a legend here at Thrive as he was the first official team member that Rob hired back in the early days of what is now Thrive Marketing Group. Today, Evan manages our email marketing division and develops our strategic technology vision, including all technology functions and leads process innovation. He designs systems for managing Thrive’s ever growing datasets of contact information and is an integral part of keeping Thrive ahead of the curve in more ways than one. Evan has over 12 years of experience in the IT industry, initially honing his skills as a consultant in the healthcare industry and an Engineer for a Top-Ten (worldwide, by node!) M-Grade network. He occasionally steps out of his office and either takes to the air (while pursuing his private pilots license) or hits the books (while pursuing his Masters degree in information systems). Evan fuels his drive for all things IT with coffee - lots and lots of coffee. He plans to someday own his own coffee plantation in Hawaii, so he can vacation in paradise while simultaneously caffeinating himself into maximum productivity mode. Surely we are all invited to visit.

Zach is a former director of aquatic services for the city of Murfreesboro, a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and a loyal Razorback fan (not necessarily in that order). He is an active member of the community and participates as an alumni sponsor of DECA and SIFE.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University which he used to leverage himself into launching a series of successful software company start-ups. His role here at Thrive as a Data Strategist means that he is responsible for acquiring, analyzing and monetizing all of our data. When he is not swimming in a sea of data, Stephen enjoys going to the movies and playing the guitar.

Thomas Vaughn

Thomas joined Thrive with a strong technical background. He’s worked with Unum, HP and BorderJump and holds a degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration. As our Lead Developer, Thomas improves business processes to increase efficiency. He’s active in the local tech community, serving on the planning committees of BarCamp and PodCamp and attending PHP user meetups. Thomas enjoys running, ice hockey, ping pong, travelling and, most importantly, bacon.

Susan’s role as the Office Manager here at Thrive means that the day to day business of managing the office is her top priority. Susan describes a typical day in her professional life as involving “a little bit of everything whenever it needs to be done.” Outside of the office Susan prides herself on her loyalty to the University of Georgia “Dawgs” and her collection of autographed John Grisham books (seven of them, to be exact!). She’s a hard-working, innovative member of the team whom we can also count on for a laugh, a smile and always chocolate.

Originally from New Orleans, Charlotte graduated from LSU with a Marketing degree and brings oodles of Sales & Marketing expertise to the table. Her role here at Thrive as the Director of Special Projects includes having a hand in the HR and recruiting processes as well as a multitude of other projects within the organization (anything from copywriting to picking out paint colors for our amazing new office). She is an habitual list-maker who loves architecture, design blogs, tabloid gossip (can’t help it) and all things creative.

Michele started with Thrive Marketing Group in March of 2008. She has consistently brought in revenue and new clients for email marketing, data sales, lead generation and creative services. For the past year, her primary focus has been on bringing in new clients for Thrive Marketing Group’s wholly owned subsidiary, Thrive Creations. Her accomplishments at Thrive include happy and repeat customers, assisting clients with enhancing revenues for their businesses and strategizing/consulting on ways to get their message communicated, remembered and acted upon. Prior to working with Thrive Marketing Group, she sold for Xerox Corporation, handled National Accounts at Dun & Bradstreet and sold software to hardware engineers. Her hobbies include spending time with her gorgeous Siberian Husky and extended “human” family. Michele has a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in Communications. She speaks conversational Spanish, is hooked on reading business books and is currently teaching herself French.

His startup, OurVinyl.com, graduated from the Nashville-based Jumpstart Foundry Business Accelerator. OurVinyl won the grand prize in the business plan competition held by the University of Dayton, where Jordan earned a degree in Marketing and Music Technology. When Jordan is not strategizing with the Technology Advice team, you can find him recording a band, rock climbing, or engaging with the local tech and entrepreneurship communities.

We are so fortunate to have Eric coordinating our Thrive Creations team as they produce videos that wow our clients time and time again. Eric has a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting with a focus on TV-production from Western Kentucky University and he comes to us with the experience and passion of a truly gifted producer. This hard-working guy balances out his schedule by spending his free time watching movies, hanging out with friends, coaching a local middle school lacrosse team and daydreaming about a vacation to Deutschland. It is obvious to our team, as well as our clients, that Eric is someone who really loves what he does and that absolutely shows in his work.
